Description
This is an early to mid-19th century pair of buildings on West Street. They are two storeys high with a basement, and each has two windows. The buildings are stuccoed and feature incised lines. There is a recess on the central axis. They have low-pitched slate roofs with deep eaves. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. Number 24A has a later 19th-century canted bay window. There are four steps leading up to the four-panel doors, which have reeded cornices and simple fanlights within round-arched recesses. The buildings are included in the listing due to their group value alongside numbers 18A, 20, 26 (including a coach house), 28 Upper West Street, and 24 and 24A West Street.
