Description
Nos 19 and 20 on Southerns Lane are two houses that were originally one dwelling, dating from the 16th century. The building features a timber frame with a rendered brick exterior and has a plain tile roof, which includes a gablet over the right end of No. 19. There is a central ridge stack and a front stack located to the right. The structure is two storeys high, with a single storey catslide extension to the left and a 20th-century extension that projects forward at the right-hand end. The left gable has mullion and transom casement windows, while the rest of the front displays a mix of window styles, with five windows on the first floor. A 20th-century panelled and glazed door is situated on the side of the right-hand extension.
