Description

Parsons Cottage is a 16th-century cottage. It is largely timber-framed and encased in 19th-century flint, with brick dressings and a plain tile roof topped by a central ridge stack. The cottage is two storeys high, with a projecting section to the rear. It features a mullion and transom window with diamond-pattern leaded lights, two windows per floor. The front door is planked and studded, set within a moulded brick surround with a drip hood. The letter "W" is carved in stone above the entrance. The interior contains a large brick fireplace.
