Description
Pigeonhouse Farm is a 16th-century building that was originally one house but has since been extended and divided into two. It features a timber frame with 19th-century brick cladding and a 20th-century extension to the left. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has a gabled end stack made of rubblestone on the right side, with a smaller stack to the left. The structure is a hall house, consisting of a single storey and an attic, which is adorned with gabled dormers that have weatherboard cheeks. The front has tripartite casements beneath segmental heads, with three on the ground floor, and painted 19th-century panelled doors. There is a rear wing to the right that showcases exposed timber framing. Inside, the timber frame is visible, and there is a truncated crown post in the first-floor end room.
