TQ 25NW TADWORTH STREET 3/26 Lower Kingswood, Tadworth 12.8.83 Entrance wall, Stable Block and gate piers 50 yards south west of Tadworth Court GV II

Stable block with gate piers. c1700. Brown brick with red brick dressings, hipped slate roof and south east stack. 2 storeys and attic under end dormer; 2 bay end facade. Casement windows over moulded brick band; modern doors inserted into partially blocked arches below. 4 bay courtyard facade with pedimented break; end pilaster piers and cornice. Segmental window surrounds with keystones, only central first floor windows open; clock in pediment above. Entrance wall c10 foot high with square piers c12 foot high.
