Description

This is a barn located at Dene Farm, approximately 150 metres north of the farmhouse, dating from the early 18th century. The barn is timber-framed and covered in weatherboarding, with a tiled roof resting on a 19th-century brick plinth. It consists of four bays and features a double cart entrance in the third bay. The wall plate includes a midrail and diagonal braces. The roof is supported by angled queen struts, with through purlins and rafters that do not have a ridgepiece.
