Description

The granary located to the northwest of Dene Farmhouse is an early 18th-century building that was altered in the early to mid-19th century. It features a three by three oak framed structure that is clad in weatherboarding and topped with a pyramidal tiled roof supported by brick piers. The granary has a boarded door and an aperture with metal rods on the opposite side. Inside, the roof showcases 18th-century pegged timbers, which are covered with lath and plaster, along with 19th-century grain bins.
