Description

Dungates Farm House is a house dating to the late 16th century, with extensions added in the 18th and 19th centuries. The central section of the rear elevation displays timber framing with brick infilling, while the front is brick-clad with tile hanging above. The roof is tiled, with a gablet on the left and a hip on the right. The house is set at an angle to the lane and has a single storey with attics under two gabled, through-eaves dormers. It has end stacks on the left and right. There are three ground floor windows and cellar windows, with the two on the left being blocked. A door is situated to the right of the centre. The rear elevation features an arched brace exposed on the first floor, and a pentice to the left. The right-hand return front is clad in incised render.
