Description
Home Farm House is a house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of brown brick, which was formerly colourwashed, and features a hipped, plain tiled roof. The building has a U-shaped plan with two wings extending at right angles to the rear. It stands two storeys high on a plinth, with a plat band above the ground floor and at the eaves. There are rear stacks on both the left and right sides.
The front of the house is symmetrical, with three first floor sash windows that have gauged brick heads; the outer windows include margin lights. On the ground floor, there are two windows that are very slightly cambered. The central entrance features a nine-panel door with rebated stiles, where the top three panels are glazed and sheltered by a shallow, open gable hood supported by brackets. Additionally, there is a single storey extension to the rear right of the house.
