Description

Old Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century, originally timber framed and later clad in red and blue brick, with a plain tiled roof that is hipped to the right. The building has an L-shaped plan with a wing extending to the rear right. It stands two storeys high on a tall plinth, with a plat band above the ground floor. The roof has two narrow, gabled casement dormers and three first-floor casement windows. The central window is a single light, while the outer windows are three-light casements. The ground floor has two four-light casement windows, each set within a red and blue brick relieving arch. A part-glazed door is located centrally, protected by a gabled brick porch with a Tudor-style arched entrance framed by an impost string course. Tudor-style arched panels are set into the sides of the porch. A stack is located at the right end of the front, and there are additional stacks at the rear.
