Description
The Old Parsonage is a house with origins dating back to the 17th century, which was remodeled and extended in the late 18th century and early 19th century. The front is finished in whitewashed render and features a hipped, plain tiled roof. The rear is constructed of whitewashed brick and has tile hanging on the first floor, with brick dentilled eaves beneath a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an offset end stack to the right on the front, along with corbelled end stacks at the rear. The symmetrical front includes 12-pane glazing bar sash windows set in architrave surrounds, with five windows on the first floor and four on the ground floor. The central entrance on the ground floor features a 3/4 glazed door in a fluted surround, topped with a shallow flat hood supported by volute brackets, and a geometric pattern band above the door. At the rear, there is a taller range with single storey extensions at both ends.
