Description

Stony Dene Bridge is an ornamental bridge built around 1860 for the Lovelace estate. It features a horseshoe-shaped arch, with the upper part made of brick resting on a base of flint and stone rubble set in lime mortar. The bridge has retaining walls topped with D-shaped brick coping and includes corbelled decorative brickwork on the main arches and span.
