Description
Rowbarns Manor is a house from the early 19th century, possibly incorporating an older structure, and partly remodeled in the Lovelace style. It is constructed of flint rubblestone with brick dressings and features hipped slate roofs. The building is two stories high and has a five-window range on the left, with a battlemented angle bay range set back to the right.
On the entrance front, there is a ridge stack at the rear left and two front stacks in the center. The first floor has five casement windows, with a three-light window on the right and one blocked window to the left of center. The ground floor has six casement windows, two on the left beneath cambered heads with metal tracery bars, and double doors to the right of center. The battlemented angle bay range on the right features a central stack with decorative pots and two-light casement windows, with one window on each floor on each face, all under label drip mouldings. There is also a single-storey bay in the re-entrant angle.
