Description

Briary Hill (East) Bridge is a bridge built in the 1860s by the Lovelace Estate. It features a semi-circular brick arch with a span of approximately 7 feet, supported by flint rubble retaining walls that are constructed with lime mortar. The bridge has D-shaped brick coping and includes brick moulding and decoration on the main arch and parapets, which are about 3 and a half feet high, although much of this detail has now been largely destroyed. The bridge is included for its group value.
