Description

Hermitage Bridge is a dry bridge built in the early 19th century as part of the Lovelace estate. It features a horseshoe arch made of red brick, with the lower section constructed in Flemish bond and the upper section in stretcher bond. The bridge is complemented by a revetment wall made of flint, which includes brick lacing courses and a coved, tiled parapet.
