Description

Upper Briary Hill Bridge is a bridge built in the 1860s by the Lovelace Estate. It features a circular brick arch with a span of approximately 10 feet, supported by flint rubble retaining walls that are constructed with lime mortar. The bridge has D-shaped brick coping, and the brick voussoirs and moulding are present on the main arch and the parapets, which stand about 3½ feet high. This structure is included for its group value.
