Description
The Two Brewers Public House is a public house dating from the early 19th century, with later alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of dun coloured stock brick, featuring a colourwashed rendered front on the ground floor, and has low pitched slate roofs above. The building stands three storeys tall with parallel ranges. Originally, it had a two-windowed front with end ridge stacks on both ranges; however, the stack on the right is now encased in a one-bay extension.
On the second floor, there are three 9-pane glazing-bar sash windows beneath gauged-brick heads. The first floor has three 12-pane unhorned sash windows, with two on the left side flanked by shutters. The pub front on the ground floor to the left is situated under a fascia board and features thin end pilasters flanking two fixed glazing-bar windows, one on either side of a panelled door that has an overlight above. Additionally, there is a further 20th-century half-glazed door to the right of centre and a flat-lintelled throughway to the right that has double doors.
