Description

This 17th-century barn, located 35 yards northeast of Bailes Farm House, is currently used as a store. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with cladding made of corrugated iron and weatherboard, topped by a plain tiled roof. The barn has a rectangular shape and consists of two framed bays supported by curved angle bracing. Inside, there is a queen-strut clasped purlin roof. The south end has an open entrance. At the time of the last survey, the barn was noted to be in poor repair. It is included in the register for its group value context.
