8/400 Buttery, 2 yards west of No.68 (Holly lodge)

3utterv. 1869. Pebbledashed with plain tiled roofs with central lead finial. Octagonal. Single storey and attic with triangular gable dormers on alterante sides. Triangular leaded lights. Single sotrey pentice roof ambulatorey on rustic tree-trunk supports all round the buttery and extending in 4 bay corridor connecting to the rear of Holly Lodge. Ogee type, arched leaded , part glazed door in bay to north west. Interior: mosaic terrazzo floor , marble shelf on brackets around 5 sides. Upper part of the walls covered with C17 Delft, hand painted tiles in various patterns, including ships, mermaids, tulips and flowers. Ceiling beams meet in centre to form pendant.
