Description
Nos. 99 to 103 High Street is a row of houses, now featuring a shop front on the left and offices on the right. The building dates from the early 18th century and was restored in the 1970s. It is constructed of red brick, which is rendered over a rendered plinth. The roof is plain tiled and half hipped to the left, with a ridge stack at the center, a front stack to the left, and an end stack to the right. The structure has two storeys and an attic, with four hipped roof dormers. There are six glazing bar sash windows on the first floor, with two located on the right. A 20th-century half-glazed door is positioned at the right end (No. 103) beneath a flat porch hood supported by brackets. The central shop front is single storey, featuring quoined ends and a central shaped gable. It includes two recessed plate glass doors on either side of a central part-glazed door under the gable.
