Description

The Gothic Tower is a mid-18th century brick tower located in Painshill Park, Cobham, within the Borough of Elmbridge. This four-stage tower has a square base and features round corner turrets that rise above the roof level, topped with a corbelled and battlemented parapet. There are brick bands separating each stage, stone-coped battlements on the tower's parapet, and two-light, arched windows on each face. At the time of the last survey, the tower was in a ruinous condition but has since been restored by the Painswick Park Trust in the late 20th century.
