Description
Ditchley Lodge is a lodge built around 1860, constructed from limestone ashlar with a gabled Welsh slate roof and a rendered internal stack. The building is one storey high and features a three-window range, with the central bay being pedimented and brought forward. It has two-light casements flanked by one-light casements, all set in moulded architraves with bracketed sills. Similar windows are found in the gable ends. At the rear, there is a flat-roofed extension with a 20th-century door to the right. The interior has not been inspected. Ditchley Lodge is included for its group value, as Blenheim Park is listed in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade I.
