Description
The Thatch Cottage is a house dating from the 17th to early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled thatch roof with a brick stack on the left end. The cottage has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. There are timber lintels above a 20th-century plank door that is sheltered by a timber porch, as well as above 20th-century casement windows. To the right, there is a hipped and thatched bay, while a mid-19th-century brick bay is located to the left. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
