Description
The Kings Head Public House is a building that was originally a house, dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with an end stack made of stone finished in brick. The building has a two-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, displaying a two-window range. To the left, there is a 20th-century door with a timber lintel, and to the right, a 20th-century casement window also with a timber lintel. Additionally, there is a small canted bay window from the mid-19th century with plate-glass sashes and 19th-century gabled dormers. Inside, there is a chamfered beam on the ground floor, although only partial inspection of the interior has been conducted.
