Description
Home Farmhouse is a former farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It features early to mid 19th century remodelling of an older building that likely dates back to the 17th century. The structure is made of coursed rubble limestone and has a stone slate roof, with a rubble stone chimney in the center and a 20th century brick chimney to the right. The building is two storeys high and consists of four bays.
On the upper storey, there are three-light wooden casements that were renewed in the 20th century, featuring single horizontal glazing bars and wooden lintels. The ground floor has three 20th century wooden cross casements with segmental arches, along with a small 20th century window with a wooden lintel located to the left of the door in the second bay. The door is also from the 20th century, recessed, and has a 19th century segmental arch above it.
At the rear, there is a later 19th century wing that extends at right angles to the center. Inside, some of the right bays have stop-chamfered ceiling beams. The farmhouse is included for its group value.
