Description

The bridge over the River Evenlode, located in Ascott-under-Wychwood, dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings and features a hump-backed design. The bridge has a slightly segmental shape with end cylindrical piers acting as nook shafts within small quadrants. It includes a central keyed segmental arch and two lower segmental hood arches, along with a chamfered parapet.
