Description

This is a fragment of a castle from the 12th or 13th century, now used as a cow-shed. The structure is made of rubble and is currently covered with a corrugated iron roof. It has a rectangular shape and is breached on the northeast side. The building is relatively low, measuring about 20 feet at its highest point and 11 feet elsewhere. There is evidence of putlog holes, and a small section of a 13th-century chamfered plinth can be seen.
