Description
Nos 11 and 13 on High Street in Ascott-under-Wychwood are a house and cottage dating from around 1790. They are constructed of rubble with a Cotswold stone roof and feature three chimneys along the ridge. The building is divided into two parts. No 11 is made of coursed and squared rubble, has two storeys, and includes two windows with 16-pane glazing bar sashes that have keys. It has a central ledged door with a narrow overlight, which is topped by a stone hood with an open pediment supported by brackets. No 13 has a traditional elevation, is 1½ storeys high, and also has two windows, but features 20th-century cross casements that have replaced the original sashes. It includes keystones and a central door from the mid-19th century.
