Description
Corner House is a large cottage or small farmhouse dating from the 18th century, which was altered and extended in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of rubble with freestone quoins and features timber lintels on the first floor, topped with a Cotswold stone roof and three later ridge chimneys. The building has a two-over-one window arrangement, with three- and four-light casements; the original lintels are visible on the left, while the ground floor windows are segment-headed. To the left, there is a bracketed stone open-pedimented hood that has been converted into a window. The doorway, located off-centre to the right, has voussoirs, and there is an angular 20th-century shop window to the right of the doorway. Additionally, there is a lower later dairy extension to the right.
