Description

St Margarets is a house located on Oxford Street in Woodstock, dating from the early 19th century with later alterations. The building features squared and coursed limestone with an ashlar front, while the right gable has been partly rebuilt in brick. It has a gabled Welsh slate roof and brick ridge stacks. The house has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys tall with a two-window range. A keyed semi-circular arch is present over a late 19th-century four-panelled door that includes a Gothick fanlight. There are keyed stone lintels above an early 19th-century six-pane sash window to the left, mid-19th-century plate-glass sashes on the first floor, and early 19th-century margin-light sashes on the second floor. The interior has not been inspected.
