Description

House. Built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone with a low-pitched slate roof. The house is three storeys high, with a band running above the first floor. It has two windows, with glazing-bar sash windows, the first-floor windows being taller than those above. A 20th-century projecting shop front with glazing-bar sashes occupies the ground floor, extending to the right as a porch for a wide double door. There is an irregular two-storey rear extension, and an older single-storey-and-attic converted stable. The rear extension’s first floor features a good imported stone fire place.
