Description

Moorfield is a house built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a stone slate roof. The building stands two storeys high and has a double-depth layout with an addition at the rear. The front facade is symmetrical and consists of three bays. The doorway is adorned with pilasters, an entablature, and a dentil cornice. Above the doorway and on either side are 24-paned sash windows that have projecting sills. The house has an eaves band and gutter brackets, as well as coped gables with kneelers and stacks. On the left-hand return wall, there is a semicircular-arched stair window that includes impost blocks and a keystone.
