Description

Midhill House is a cottage that features a mid-19th century front added to an earlier structure. It is constructed of coursed rubble and has a Cotswold stone roof with end chimneys, one of which is made of 20th-century ashlar. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a parapet front that includes simple offset courses for the cornice. On the left side, there is a gable dormer, and the front has two windows that are glazing-bar sashes set within flat architraves that have keystones. The entrance features a late 18th-century six-panel door within a mid-19th century doorcase, which is adorned with fluted brackets supporting a wooden flat hood.
