Plumtree Cottage is a house located on the east side of Burford and Upton High Street, dating from the early to mid-19th century, although it has an earlier core that may date back to the 17th century. The building is constructed of coursed rubble and features wide eaves and a slate roof, with a brick chimney on the right side, some of which is made from vitrified brick. It stands two storeys tall and has two sash windows with vertical glazing bars. The central doorway is framed by fluted Ionic pilasters and features a four-panel door.
