Description

Grove Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with a stone ashlar end stack. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, presenting a symmetrical three-window façade. The front door and porch are from the 20th century, while the windows are mid to late 19th century two-pane horned sashes with timber lintels. There are also two gabled roof dormers that contain mid to late 19th century two-light casements. A 19th century extension is located at the rear. Inside, the farmhouse features boxed beams and a butt-purlin roof. The building is included for its group value.
