Description

These farm buildings, located approximately 30 metres to the northwest of Park Farmhouse, date from the 18th century. They are constructed from limestone rubble with marlstone ashlar dressings and feature a concrete plain-tile roof. The structure is a long range with terminal projections. The middle bay of the central two-storey section is topped with a triangular pediment that includes a blind architraved oculus, likely designed for a clock, and the apex is adorned with a wrought-iron weathervane. The flanking sections have two windows each and central doors with flat-arched openings. An added stone stair leads to an enlarged first-floor window. The range extends to the left and right with shaped barns that return to the front, featuring wide opposed doorways in the angles, originally segmental-arched but now fitted with concrete lintels at the front. The interior has not been inspected. These buildings are included for their group value.
