Description
Inglenook is a small house dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with wooden lintels and features a thatched roof with a stone gable stack. The building has a two-unit plan and is one storey plus an attic. The front facing the road includes a two-light casement window to the left of the center, a smaller casement window to the right, and a two-light half dormer. The stack on the left has been rebuilt but still has a moulded cap.
The rear of the house, which contains the current entrance, is partly obscured by 20th-century extensions but retains a three-light ovolo-moulded wood-mullioned window. The interior has not been inspected, and there is a 20th-century casement window in the left gable wall that may have replaced the original entrance.
