Description

This chest tomb, located approximately 8 meters south of the Church of St. Edward the Confessor, dates from the early to mid-18th century. It is made of marlstone and features a rectangular shape with a moulded base and cover. The tomb has rectangular corner balusters and panelled sides that bear illegible inscriptions. The end panels are adorned with carvings of winged cherubs set within swags.
