Description

Park Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and a Welsh-slate roof featuring rendered brick gable stacks. The building has an L-plan layout and consists of two storeys plus an attic. The symmetrical front façade has three windows, a central doorway, and widely spaced four-pane sash windows, all topped with ashlar flat arches. At the rear, there is a central cross-framed stair window. A lower rear wing extends to the right and features a fire-insurance plaque on its gable. Inside, the farmhouse includes open fireplaces, an open-string staircase with shaped spandrels, turned balusters, and a moulded and ramped handrail. The stair hall has a modillion cornice, and there are fielded-panel doors with some L hinges. The front may have originally had more windows.
