Description
Hennock House is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with wooden lintels, featuring a roof made of Stonesfield slate and concrete plain tiles, along with brick stacks. The building has a two-unit plan with an added bay and stands three storeys tall, plus an additional storey in the attic.
The front of the main part is symmetrical with two windows and has a central door. At the ground and first floors, there are casement windows, while the second floor features a single central window. The ground floor has 20th-century casements, but the other floors retain original three-light leaded casements. The main roof has gable stacks, and the lower tiled bay to the right includes a three-light window and a blocked doorway, both fitted with 20th-century casements. The interior has not been inspected.
