Description

Grafton is a small house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with wooden lintels and features an artificial stone-slate roof with rubble gable stacks. The house has a two-unit plan and a small rear wing. It stands two storeys tall, plus an attic, and has a two-window front. The doorway is located to the right of centre and is sheltered by a 20th-century stone porch. The front windows are mostly three-light casements, except for a two-light window to the right of the door. The roof includes two gabled dormers and a stack on the left side. All windows have been replaced with 20th-century casements. The lower rear wing, which extends to the right, has a gabled dormer. The interior has not been inspected.
