Description

This building is a loosebox range, now serving as an outbuilding, dating from around 1800. It is constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble and features a half-hipped stone slate roof. The structure is one storey high with a loft and has a two-window range. There are timber lintels above two doors and windows, and nesting holes can be found under the eaves. A pitching-eye is present in the right gable wall for accessing the loft. Inside, the building has chamfered beams and a collar-truss roof. It is located as part of the foldyard behind City Farmhouse and is included for its group value.
