Description
This building is a barn and stables located approximately 50 meters southeast of Grange Farmhouse, dating from the 17th century with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with stone coping on the left side. The barn has an 8-bay plan that includes two threshing floors. The front is buttressed and has timber lintels above 20th-century double doors. At the rear, there are two stone midstreys, an owl hole to the left, and a weatherboarded front to the right. The stables, primarily from the mid-19th century, have timber lintels over 20th-century doors and windows. Inside, the roofs date from the mid-19th century.
