Description

Two houses, dating from the 17th century and refaced in the early 19th century. The exterior is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with an ashlar plinth, and has a stucco front. The roof is gabled, covered with concrete tiles, and has brick end stacks. The houses are arranged with a three-unit plan, and have two storeys and an attic, with a three-window front. Timber lintels are above all window and door openings. A 20th-century door and a late 19th-century six-panelled door are located centrally. There is a 19th-century window with glazing bars to the left, and two late 19th-century horned sashes to the right; the first floor has early 19th-century six-pane sashes. Two late 19th-century gabled roof dormers are present. At the rear are late 17th/early 18th-century wings constructed of similar materials. The interior has not been inspected, but is likely to be of interest.
