Description
No. 11 Bridge Street is a house that now functions as a house and shop, dating from the early to mid-18th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled roof, with stone slates on the right side and Welsh slates on the left. There is a brick ridge stack. The layout is a two-unit plan, with two storeys and an attic, presenting a two-window range.
The left side has a 20th-century door and window, while the right side features a 20th-century window with a timber lintel above it, alongside a 19th-century three-light transomed casement window on the first floor. The roof has dormers with 19th-century three-light casements, with a gabled dormer on the right and a raking roof dormer on the left. At the rear, there is a later 18th-century wing made of similar materials. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
