Description

The bale tomb, located approximately 8 meters south-southeast of the Church of St. Britius, dates from the early 18th century and is constructed of limestone. It features a winged cherub's head carved above an inscription panel, which is flanked by narrow panels adorned with foliate scrolls. The rear of the tomb has similar decorations, but with oval flanking panels. It also includes a moulded cornice and a ribbed bale, with Tudor roses set in shell hoods at each end.
