This milestone, located approximately 300 meters northeast of Banbury Lodge, dates from the late 18th century. It is made of limestone and features a cast-iron plate. The stone is flat and tapers with a rounded head, and it has a rectangular plate inscribed with the distances: "Chipping/Norton/2/Banbury/10 3/4/Miles".
