Description

This milestone, located on the south side of the A44 in Chastleton, is likely from the early 19th century and is made of limestone. It has a rectangular shape with a rounded top. The inscription reads "CHIP NORTON/6 MILES/MORETON/2 MILES," although it seems to have originally featured a cast-iron plate.
