Description
Diplock Cottage is a small house, likely built in the early 18th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features wooden lintels. The roof is made of Welsh slate and has been rebuilt with stone gable stacks. The cottage has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys plus an attic high. The front of the building has a regular arrangement of two windows, with tall renewed casements on the first floor that have chamfered lintels, and short sashes below that are five panes wide. The entrance is located to the left of the range. The steep-pitched roof is adorned with gable parapets. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
