Description

Boot Cottage is a small house dating from the early to mid 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble and features wooden lintels, topped with a Welsh-slate roof and brick gable stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high, plus an attic. The front of the cottage has two windows, each with two-light casements, some of which include leaded glazing. There is a central plank door with a wooden canopy, and most of the lintels are adorned with stop-chamfers. The roof is steeply pitched. The interior has not been inspected.
